Or on your own blog and stick the link down in the comments.

That’s it.
Here’s my random attempt this week… https://wp.me/pVkLb-8V9

Don’t seem able to comment on your page, Tom, so this is what I tried to say: ‘What a hoot, Tom, and perfectly captures the mood of the pic. Well done.’

Estate agent description
(Actual meaning, in English)
Luxury open-plan house
(Vast areas impossible to heat.)
Fabulous chef’s kitchen and spacious pantry
(No need to be a culinary wizard – the kitchen looks good but the pantry has loads of room for pot noodles, canned food and instant meals. And a microwave.)
Various seating areas
(Loads of odd-shaped space we didn’t know what to do with.)
4 bedrooms, 3 with en-suite
(If you get given the 4th bedroom, you know you’re low down on the friendship list.)
Study nook
(A bit of landing that is really a passageway, with more foot traffic than Piccadilly Circus. Hard to concentrate there but it suggests that working from home is a possibility (it isn’t)).
Compact back garden with room for the kids to play
(The kids will outgrow it by the time they can walk. And if they can kick a ball, you might want to increase your window breakage insurance.)
Adjacent to park
(Be prepared for the smell of barbecued sausages and cremated steaks wafting over the fence, especially at weekends and public holidays.
Likewise drink cans flying over your fence.
Likewise the occasional hypodermic.
Likewise the sound/noise of bands staging one of their first public performances. Upside – if they’re any good, you’re in prime position. Downside – if they’re not, you’re still in prime position.)
Attractive price point
(Your bank manager may pass out when you apply for a mortgage.)
I have learnt that WordPress doesn’t like tables – hence the above format. Sorry, guys and gals.

What a clever and witty dig at modern society and its values, Angela.
I can see it all – and smell it too!
Great story and no need to aplogise, it works very well the way it is.
(PS Did you spot Alex’s Jardin? 😏)
