I can’t leave a comment on your blog for some reason so here’s what I would have left.
I suppose building an airtight closet for the wretched Languid is out of the question? Thank you for the reminder on what’s important in life.

[…] The Unicorn Challenge: Write something inspired by the photo prompt in 250 words or less. I saw the musical The Fantasticks in the mid 1960’s. A friend’s husband had the part of El Gallo – the narrator of the play. I fell in love with all of the songs and think Soon It’s Gonna Rain is one of the most beautiful love songs. […]

I traveled once in Croatia and Bosnia. I don’t know where this picture was taken, but it reminded somewhat of that part of the world. So — I used a little Google-translated Croatian for the title.

More greetings from the Antipodes – in a 40 degree heatwave.
SHE’S BACK!
Melanie had come a long way since she had (unsuccessfully) tried modelling wellington boots. A new agent had taken a draconian approach to her “dramatic” persona, forbidden her to open her mouth to say anything other than yes and no, and sent her to learn how to present on a catwalk. Melanie’s undoubted physical beauty had done the rest and she had become one of the world’s highest-paid models.
With more millions in the bank than she could begin to contemplate, even with the help of an electronic calculator, Melanie had decided it was time to upgrade her lifestyle. She wanted somewhere to “escape” to when the London scene got too much. In short, she wanted a country house.
The real estate agent pointed up the hill. “Oh, it’s just too cutesy,” squeaked Melanie. The real estate squirmed then calculated his commission on what he was sure he could get her to pay. He would cope with “cutesy” after all.
“It needs a bit of a makeover,” he warned her. “But the vineyard and lavender farm are included in the sale, with their management teams.”
Melanie was in ecstasy. “Oh great! I’m not too good with figures and management an’ all that,” she said. “Fab-u-fantastic at interior design, though. I want this one to have a Barbie vibe, innit.”
The real estate agent mentally upped the price he would ask for. It would take an astronomical commission for him to live down the “Barbie vibe”.

It seems that what Melanie lacks from the neck up is balanced by her attributes from the neck down.
Entertaining tale of the Haves and Have-nots-who want–a-slice!

As well as giving us Melanie’s shallowness and the estate agent’s greed, your story shows how money is King in our modern world.!
I never thought I’d feel for a building, but I cringe at the thought of a Barbie-vibe in that beautiful house.
A nice take on the prompt photo, Angela.
PS 40 degree heatwave – ouch!
